What do you need to work on?

I think part of becoming a better writer is recognizing your weaknesses, areas where you need to improve. Having an editor obviously helps, but not all of us have one -- yet (smiles). What do you need to improve on and how will you go about it? If you don't know how to go about it, tell us and maybe we can offer suggestions or share things that worked for us. I'd love to hear and help each of you if I can.
