My dearest Ella,
Have courage.
Have the courage to step outside of your comfort zone and try something new. If you have courage, you’ll have the strength you need to take risks and succeed. Having courage doesn’t mean you’re not afraid; it means you’re able to overcome your fears.
Love you bunches and bunches, Grandma
great post! Sometimes it's hard to do 'new,' but for writers there's a double reward; not only have you conquered your fears but you have some new stuff to use in your writing.
ReplyDeleteVery nice, Buffy! I love these letters to Ella. Really they are letters for all of us. :)
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with Sharon and mshatch - they really ARE letters for all of us.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had a Grandmother like this one...
THANKS BUFFY!
Thanks everyone. Now if only I could find an agent and publisher who feels the same way. So frustrating.
ReplyDeleteYou guys are great. Thanks so much for reading my blog and for encouraging me.
I agree, Buffy, it is frustrating trying to find THE agent, the one who loves our story, our writing. But don't stop because sooner or later we will find that person.
