Time marches on

Time doesn't stand still, does it?

• The little boy I rocked is now the young man I stand on my tip-toes to hug.
• Bubble baths with action figures give way to showers so long my husband freaks when he sees the water bill.
• Kool-Aid mustaches become real ones. 
• The days I spent wishing for time to speed up turn into days I wish I could slow time down.
