Quote of the day

"True ease in writing comes from art, not chance, as those move easiest who have learned to dance. 'Tis not enough no harshness gives offence. The sound must seem an echo to the sense.'

  1. Great quote. Some assume it's easy to write even if they don't have any formal training. But it definitely takes study of the craft and practice.

  2. Natalie, I so agree. I think birthing a book is right up there with birthing a child. It's darn difficult. It's painful and there are times when you don't think you can push anymore. But you hang in there despite all the pain and when it's over, what a joy you have. (Well, maybe not exactly like giving birth but you get my point)
