Quote of the day

"Being a writer is like having homework every night for the rest of your life."--Lawrence Kasdan
This quote made me smile. Do you agree with Kasdan? And while we're talking about homework, which was your favorite and least favorite subject in school?

  1. Oh well.... I think languages were my favorite (Dutch, English, German and French) while Math was something I struggled with :)

  2. Wow Marja, I'm impressed. I totally sucked in languages. I had French in high school and Spanish in college. Never felt the love, ya know? I admire people who are fluent in other languages, it's just not something I was/am able to do. Have a great day!

  3. I love that quote. It is so true. Especially for those of us who work too.

  4. Agree with you, Nat. We work our "regular" jobs and then come home to do our homework (writing). Only this is homework I love doing, unlike calc or differential equations or statistics.

  6. very true! Almost every day I come home from work and then right after supper it's upstairs to my computer to write until bed. It is like homework in that it's something I have/need to do but it's also something I want to do - unlike schoolwork. But I always liked English class - all that writing and reading of course, and, strangely, algebra.

  7. That quote makes me tired. :)

I loved everything except math. And I seem to be in good company on that.
