What annoys you?

Here's your chance to get sound off. Get it off your chest. Scream. Shout. Whatever! Tell us what annoys you most about the publishing business or writing in general. Sometimes, saying it can help you move past it. And, you never know, someone might have words of wisdom. So bring it on gang. What annoys you?

  1. Rewriting, thinking it's right, just to discover it's still needs work. UGH. But it's all part of the growing process we call writing.

  2. WAITING annoys me. :( I want to go back to the days where I didn't almost have a heart attack from checking my email.

  3. I don't like getting back form letters for rejections. I completely understand that they are busy and don't have the time, but I can't work on making my writing better if I don't know what was wrong, such as voice.

  4. I can't stand it when non-writing friends ask every 5 minutes

    "Aren't you published YET?"

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

THANKS BUFFY - feel better now!

  5. I agree with all of the things that annoy you guys. Except revising. I love that. But I hate waiting. I hate rejections without any guidance provided and I want to crawl in a hole when I have to tell people I'm not a published author. *SCREAMS* OK, now I feel better, too.
